Our Investment Thesis
Investing in What Moves West Texas Forward
We back companies that create jobs, keep talent local, and build lasting value in our region—then stay in the room to help them grow.
Companies We're Proud to Back
A look at the businesses in our portfolio today—and what they say about the kinds of deals we pursue.

SitePro
Scaling a Lubbock company and keeping it local
SitePro builds software that automates water management for oil and gas operators, digitizing infrastructure that used to be monitored by truck. Our members invested early and then watched national capital follow, including Cottonwood Venture Partners and Khosla Ventures across later rounds. The company still runs out of Lubbock, employing dozens of people who would otherwise have taken those jobs somewhere else.

Good Line Beer Co.
Backing exceptional West Texas brick-and-mortar companies
Good Line is a craft brewery in Lubbock's Tech Terrace neighborhood, founded by two former Austin beer writers who moved here and built it from a garage operation. In 2025 it was named Texas Brewery of the Year in its class—the first time the title went to a brewery outside the state's major metros.
Seraph Hub Fuel Fund
Targeted fund investing with West Texas synergies
We helped launch the Seraph Hub Fuel Fund alongside Texas Tech Research Park, Seraph Group, and seven other regional partners to create the first venture fund of its kind in West Texas. The fund targets seed-stage agriculture technology companies with checks of $100,000 to $250,000. Investing in the fund extended our reach into deals no single angel group would have sourced on its own.

Metaphite
Ag tech investments in the future of West Texas
Metaphite is developing crop gene technology that allows plants to metabolize phosphite as their sole source of phosphorus. This trait cuts fertilizer requirements and suppresses competing weeds, which cannot process it. The science originates from Texas Tech—a research strength that already exists in this region. Agriculture technology built on West Texas research, solving West Texas problems, is exactly the kind of deal we look to facilitate.
